Tyndale’s Great Reads from 2012–Romance and Historicals

I’m delighted and honored that PROMISE ME THIS and BAND OF SISTERS is included in Tyndale House Publishers’ list of Great Reads from 2012–Romance and Historicals.

Working with Tyndale House Publishers and their fine authors is an absolute joy for me.  Deep in the throes of writing a new book set in 1939-1940, I’m looking forward to another exciting year of working with my amazing publishing team and connecting with all of you.

May God bless and keep you in your own new ventures and adventures this year.  I’m eager to hear about them, and hope you’ll share.

God is so good–To Him be all glory and praise!

Morning – I just finished Band of Sister – it is a wonderful book. I enjoyed it so. I was trying to find the info you mentioned on the last pp of the book re human trafficking but couldn’t find any mention or any sites.
I would appreciate any help you can give me. Want you to know that I will be reading several of your books – thank you for following God’s lead.

Read your books, Cathy. Love your characters and situations. I appreciate historical fiction and realize how much time and expense goes into all that research.
Looking forward to your new release in June, “Saving Amelie.” Had a book published myself this past November. Eva

Promise Me This was a wonderful story! I would love to read a pert 2! I keep thinking about Annie and Michaels life after the war. Do you think you will ever write another story about their life after the war?

    • Cathy Gohlke says:

Thanks so much for your email, Donna. I’m delighted that you enjoyed “Promise Me This” and that the characters have stayed with you.

I do sometimes think about writing about Annie and Michael’s lives after the war, or sometimes about writing the story of Megan Marie, Michael’s little sister. Right now I have no plans for that. But, time will tell.

Thank you for your encouragement! God’s blessings for you!
